Melissa Caudle is a native Californian, born in Los Angles and living most of her life in the San Francisco Bay Area. She received a B.F.A. in Interior Architecture from California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland (now California College of the Arts, Oakland and San Francisco) after attending Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. Melissa’s photographic education began with an Architectural Photography class at Cal Poly and continued with film photography classes at De Anza and Foothill Colleges. After a career in architecture and two kids, Melissa returned to a focus on photography, graphic design, printmaking, book and paper arts, starting with a digital photography class taken with her daughter in 2009. Melissa will graduate, again, with a Certificate in Photograph from Foothill College in the spring of 2015.
